I want to share five teachings that I believe are very important in every believer’s life. These five things will help you stay on track in your walk with Jesus.
First of all you need to understand the various distractions this world we live in presents to us. You need to know about them so you can recognize when you encounter them just so you can defend yourself. Next, you need to know what Satan’s proper position on this Earth really is. Many people attribute more power to Satan than what he actually has. In this teaching we will see what God’s Word says about that. Third, perhaps the most powerful and effective weapon the Church has against the devil and the world is Praise. Did you know we are commanded by the living Word, Jesus, to praise God constantly. Forth, I will show you a revelation about the Book of Revelation that I learned almost 40 years ago. The time is right to share this teaching with the Body of Christ so we can prepare for Christ’s return. Fifth, God ordained three feasts for Israel to celebrate. Two have been fulfilled in Jesus Christ and His Church. The third will be fulfilled very soon!
Parable of the Sower and the Seed. This parable is found in Matthew 13:3-23, Mark 4:1-20, and Luke 8:5-15. I will use Mark for this teaching. Every Christian needs to understand this message so he (she) can stay in the race to completion (1 Corinthian 9:23-27).
What Can Satan Do? Every Christian needs to know what Satan can and cannot do. Scriptures tell us exactly what he can do. And they also tell us what he cannot do! He has very limited powers and God has control over what they are and when they are applied.
The Weapon of Praise. In John 1:1-13 all things are created by the Word, the Word is God, the Word is Jesus, and, therefore, all of the Scriptures are Jesus’ Words. Many places in the Word, praise of God is a command. Praise is a powerful weapon given to the Church to help Her thrive.
Revelation; A Key to It's Understanding. God uses the witness of two or three to establish His Word when the Word is important and about to come to pass (2 Corinthians 13:1, Genesis 41:32). We will see how this applies to the Book of Revelation.
Feast of Tabernacles. God ordained three main feasts for Israel to celebrate: Passover, Pentecost and Tabernacles. Jesus fulfilled Passover when He died on the cross and rose from the dead. Jesus fulfilled Pentecost when he sent the Holy Spirit to empower the Church to proclaim the Gospel. The Feast of Tabernacles is yet to be fulfilled in Jesus Christ!
